Doctor Ghura was very caring, and dealing with him was always a very relaxing experience. The various stages of the proposed treatments were explained thoroughly, and as his patient I was encouraged to ask for clarification where I needed further reassurances. I was certainly made to feel that nothing would be too much trouble during the full process of my treatment. On the medical practicalities, I was impressed with the way he arranged and undertook the work, coupled with the feedback he was always willing to impart.

Dr Ghuru is an outstanding doctor and I am so grateful for his care and support to me following diagnosis of a skin condition.
He explained everything so well and listened to me completely, empathising with my concerns and stress about the situation, providing outstanding medical care.

I was so pleased to have chosen Dr Ghura for my initial consultation and medical procedure. Dr Ghura was extremely welcoming and professional who explained everything clearly which ensured I didn't worry too much.
The procedure that Dr Ghura performed, removing a lump from my lower shin, was a huge success and when fully healed I'm sure I won't even notice a mark. Also the whole procedure was pain free.

I became a patient of Dr Vindy Ghura's after many months of misdiagnosis and illinformed treatment from various other doctors. My condition was worsening and my outlook becoming bleak as there was no apparent cause or cure.
When I eventually turned to the expertise of Dr V. Ghura I was seen immediately, he was extremely confident in his diagnosis; putting me at ease and making me feel comfortable and well looked after. Within the first consultation I was well informed about my own condition, and given all the next steps to take, by Dr Ghura, he answered every question I had in great detail, the same can be said for our follow up appointment. Dr Vindy Ghura is a highly experienced and long-established Dermatologist of over 20 years. He is always aware of the impact skin disease can have on his patients. He looks after and treats patients with all forms of skin disease including Skin Cancer, Acne, Eczema, Psoriasis and other rashes as well as hair loss (alopecia).

Dr Vindy Ghura is one of 70 fully trained Consultant Mohs Surgeons in the UK. Mohs Surgery is a specialist technique for removing the most difficult “non-melanoma” skin cancers (squamous cell and basal cell carcinomas and offers the highest cure rates. Dr Ghura set up the Mohs skin cancer service in Sheffield winning the Hospital’s Service development of the year award. Dr Ghura is honoured to have been elected President of the British Society for Dermatological Surgery (BSDS), the largest Skin surgery society in Europe and one to which almost all Dermatological (Skin) Surgeons and Mohs Surgeons in the UK belong to.
Dr Ghura has a Masters degree in Medical Education from Cardiff University (gained with distinction) and regularly teaches other doctors about skin disease. He has also been an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians for many years. He has given numerous lectures and talks on skin cancer and skin disease both nationally and internationally.
Dr Ghura has research interests in Skin Cancer, Surgery and Medical Education and has presented and published in all of these areas.
